Summary
Dimorphoceras (Metadimorphoceras) hodsoni subgen. et sp. nov. is described from the P1 Zone in the Viséan shales of County Leitrim, Eire. Dimorphoceras (Dimorphoceras) kathleenae Moore and Kazakhoceras hawkinsi (Moore) are also recorded from the same zone. An early variety, var. leitrimense nov., of D. (D.) kathleenae is erected. Recent Russian work on the systematics of Dimorphoceratidae is discussed.
